The research of performance optimization methods based on Impala cluster

Cloudera Impala as a member of SQL-on-Hadoop system has received increasing attentions in the era of big data. As an open-source MPP SQL query engine, it can contend with commercial analytic DBMS through some reasonable optimization methods. This paper gives an overview of Impala's architecture and puts forward some performance optimization skills. We conduct a set of experiments in our own big data analysis system based on Impala to verify the effect of optimization.
