PeopleViews: Human Computation for Constraint-based Recommendation

In this paper we introduce PEOPLEVIEWS which is a constraintbased recommendation environment based on the concepts of Human Computation. We show how recommendation knowledge can be collected from users of the recommendation environment on the basis of micro-tasks and how PEOPLEVIEWS exploits this knowledge for recommendations. In this context, we compare different recommendation approaches using a set of DSLR cameras.
