Multimedia streaming applications have stringent Quality-of-Service (QoS) requirements. Typically, each packet is associated with packet delivery deadline. We are interested in designing feedback-based adaptive network coding schemes with the aim of minimizing decoding delay and video distortion in wireless broadcasting networks over the packet-erasure channel. In this paper, we first introduce the concept of buffer-aided instantly decodable network coding scheme (B-IDNC) to further minimize decoding delay and priority-based unequal packet-priority retransmission scheme (P-UPR) to further reduce scalable video coding (SVC) distortion. Then, we propose a buffer-aided priority-division network coding broadcasting algorithm (BPNC) to support priority transmission for the high-priority packets and the high-priority receivers' packets. Simulation results show that our algorithm significantly reduces decoding delay and the missed deadline percentage, while maintaining high throughput.
