A search field can increase a website’s usefulness, or it can draw people away from your site, depending on how it is implemented. If you choose to provide search capability on a specific website, this presents no problem. The search results will concentrate on that particular website, but occasionally one or two other websites might show up among the search results. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
