Security Challenges in Implementing Semantic Web- Unifying Logic

The is entering a new phase of evolution. There has been much debate recently about what to call this new phase. Some would prefer to not name it all, while others suggest continuing to call its Web 2.0.Some others suggested naming this third-generation of the Web, Web 3.0. This suggestion has led to quite a bit of debate within the industry. However, this new phase of evolution has quite a different focus from what 2.0 has come to mean. The most controversial feature of the 3.0 is the Semantic Web. The Semantic provides a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application, enterprise, and community boundaries. It is a collaborative effort led by W3C with participation from a large number of researchers and industrial partners. It is based on the Resource Description Framework (RDF). In this paper, we describe the Semantic Web, which provides an intermediate solution.
