Wavelet-based matched filtering applied to neuromagnetic signals

The signal to noise ratio of cerebral magnetic fields is very poor. The usual procedure relies on the application of periodic stimuli and on averaging the detector output. Wavelets are applied herewith to enhance the neuromagnetic response signal from a single cycle stimulus.
