Technology trends and an urge to have a lavish life style demand a tradeoff between quality and budget. There is precedence over health issues; thereby developers are investing more over the health tracking systems. Now days these devices are commercially available in market but their cost and reliability factor are not satisfactory for customers or users. The notion of this paper is to propose a model for a wearable device which is based on wireless sensor network and which also having sufficient potential to produce satisfactory result for different healthcare application. In this work a motion sensor device has been developed which can be used to monitor rehabilitation exercise, step counting, sleep tracking, and estimation of burned calories. A single sensor can be employed for various applications by using it at different time span. This study renders smallest and light weight but efficient sensors, so that user can easily wear it without any frustration.
