Mammography is the best screening tool used today to find breast cancer. The method for Image Segmentation Mammographic proposed in this paper is based on an algorithm using together a k-means and Maxmin. The original image is fragmented (quadtree) initially to homogeneous regions. Each region is then associated with a peak of graph and we use topographical distance between two regions. It gathers data within homogeneous groups named regions classes, then we use our algorithm to find the optimal partition of regions which have the minimum value of entropy. This technique gives good results, and allows calculating morphological parameters of the breast cancer.
