Benchmark SpecWeb 2009 is usually adopted to measure the performance of server systems. Most of the submitted scores in SPEC official web site are measurements of single node servers. This paper proposes a method of running SpecWeb 2009 on a high-density and low-energy cloud server. The cloud server is a cluster of "big nodes", each of which has 8 computing modules containing 4 Intel Xeon D1500 processors connected with a 3D torus interconnect fabric. The official SPECWeb implementation consume too much resources, and that make the testing of a high-density cloud server very difficult. So we re-implement the SPECWeb 2009 client to an event-driven architecture. Our optimized version can simulate 50K concurrent user sessions. We also implement an event-driven web server, and it greatly improves the performance of SPECWeb server. In order to get the whole system score of SPECWeb in Sugon cloud cluster, the testing procedure is divided into 4 level tests. The lowest 4th level of test is taken on a single processor, then the 3rd level test performs on a computing module, and the 2nd level test runs on one big node, the 1st level test will perform on one half of the whole system scale. We have now tested SPECWeb 2009 on one processor, one computing module and one big node, and good scalability can be seen from the figures.
