A New General Iterative Method for an Infinite Family of Nonexpansive Mappings in Hilbert Spaces
Abba Auwalu · 2012
In this article, by using the W-mapping, η-strongly monotone and L-Lipschitzian operator, we introduce and study a new iterative scheme with Meir-Keeler contraction for finding a common fixed point of an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings in the frame work of Hilbert spaces. We prove the strong convergence of the proposed iterative scheme to the unique solution of some variational inequality. The methods in this article are interesting and different from those given in many other articles. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced by many authors.
