An Enhanced Arabic Phonemes Classification Approach

Phoneme is the basic unit that makes up the words in speech signals. The recognition of the spoken phonemes in audio signals is considered a crucial process in recognizing speech, as it will affect the recognition accuracy of the overall system. The challenges in recognizing phonemes in general and Arabic in particular require a good knowledge of the characteristics of Arabic language.
