Photo-realistic rendering algorithm simulates the physical behaviour of light by synthesizing image that closely resembles real photograph. In this paper, we will focus on unbiased Monte Carlo rendering algorithm for real images, as producing unbiased and noise-free image is a gold standard for rendering technique. The existing literatures are complex and hard to understand especially for fresh researchers. We will discuss a few algorithms related to this and point out the advantages and disadvantages of them. We have also implemented some of the methods for better visualization of their effects and proof of the authors' concept. This comparison is found useful and serve as an important starting point for researchers to work in photo-realistic field.
