Network capacity planning under competition
Helio Waldman, Rodrigo C. Bortoletto, Gustavo Sousa Pavani · 2010
The paper presents a Markovian blocking model for two competing entities providing channels on a single link. Users are free to choose the provider with minimum blocking probability when first requested. Using game-theoretical arguments, the model is then able to predict how much traffic is captured by each operator.
