With progress in the quantity of cloud users and the extent of thin-skinned data on cloud, fortification of cloud has become more essential. Hence, competent and effectual methodologies are desirable to pledge the data authentication and valuable load management of data. To prevail over these threats linked issues, new-fangled protocol design has been proposed. The pedestal of our design is the in order permutation of firefly algorithm and Merkle hash tree. This technique makes use of trusted third party to sporadically validate the data stored at cloud service provider. It auxiliary helps in minimize the network communication delay. The proposed protocol mechanism facilitates block level based active data operations while supporting the comparable defense promise. In this classification, the firefly algorithm is implemented for file authentication and integrity verification, while MHT helps in load management and files compression.
