Nastassia, A Video-based Image Processing System For Torsional Eye Movements Analysis

Nicolas Groleau · 2005

Eye movements have been studied for over 40 years. Various image processing methods have been applied. These range from low sampling mMl(al measurements on 35 mm photographs [I] to sophisticated infrored digitized images processed by dedicated way processors driven bypvefd computers [Z]. Each method introduces constraints on the experiment conditions (lighring. head fwtion. eye discomfort, iral lardmarks) as well as on the processing time. We present a video-based computerized method imposing minimal experimental constraints and exhibiting encouraging performance while utilizing reasonable off-ihe-sherf hardware and software remwces.
