Linear Asynchronous Code-division Multiple Access Single-user Receiver
Predrag Rapajic, Branka S. Vucetic · 2005
An asynchronous code-division multiple-access (CDMA) system is considered. It is assumed that the receiver has knowledge of the signature waveforms of all the users. A fully asyncronous single user receiver is considered and no timing information from the other users is avaliable. The proposed receiver is very much similar to the standard singleuser-detector receiver. Instead of the set of matched filters rather a set of LMS filters is employed. The influence of the filters length is investigated and tested by simulation using a set of the Gold sequences of length 31. A considerable improvement, is achieved with respect to the conventional receiver.
