Vision-based detection of dynamic gesture
Zhigang Xu, Honglei Zhu · 2009
The use of gesture as a natural and intuitional interface serves as a motivating force for research in detection and interpretation of gestures. In particular, vision-based gesture detection is the need of human-computer intelligent interaction, which involves many multidisciplinary studies. A review on recent vision-based gesture detection approaches is given in this paper. Firstly, the characteristics and framework of dynamic gesture's detection are introduced. Secondly, many gesture segmentation and tracking methods are summarized and analyzed. In the end, we conclude with some thoughts about future researches.
