MATLAB-a mathematical visualization laboratory

The author describes MATLAB, which began its life ten years ago as an interactive matrix calculator built on top of the LINPACK and EISPACK subroutine libraries and has evolved into a general, high-level, mathematical computation environment, integrated with 2- and 3-D graphics. MATLAB is implemented on the Titan single-user supercomputer. An example using MATLAB is provided.>
