Aimed at the widespread disturbance problem of amplitude and phase errors in practical application, combined with DOA estimation algorithm of the subspace class and based on a uniform circular array, a kind of algorithm to correct amplitude and phase errors is proposed. Firstly, amplitude and phase errors are preliminarily estimated according to the structural features of the uniform circular array covariance matrix; secondly, the more accurate estimation is obtained through the iterative method. Relatively, the self-correction method is easy to achieve in that it requires no initial parameters. The simulation results manifest that the algorithm assumes good error correction effects and is able to accurately estimate the azimuth and the amplitude and phase error value.
