RD Optimization and Skip Prediction for H. 264/AVC Standard

Starting from the fact that video coding standard H.264/AVC holds two methods of entropy coding, i.e., context adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) and context adaptive variable length coding (CAVLC), these two methods are compared in situation when skip mode is used.
