Filter design technique for improving time domain fidelity of data line filter

R.K. Jain, Devendra Chandra Pande · 2003

Basically, a filter is a network that transforms an input signal in some specified way to yield a desired output signal. Traditionally, a filter is designed to achieve better amplitude response, such as Chebyshev and Butterworth filter, but these filter exhibit inferior time domain responses. In data line filter due to inferior time domain response pulse shape is distorted which may affect the circuit performance. An effective technique to improve the time domain fidelity of data line filter is presented in this paper.
