Design Of Past Fir Filters With Corrected Frequency Response

Noise is a difficult challenge for Stress Test ECG processing. Digital FIR filters gives better performances removing noise and preserving ECG morphology. Unfortunately to compute a FIR filter many multiplications are generally required, making applications too slow. There are some very fast FIR filters, but their frequency response is too poor for ECG processing. developed a new design technique allowing to built fast FIR filters with good frequency response. Technique is based on cascading some easy-to-compute FIR filters with a small classical one, designed to compensate the frequency response. Such filters strongly reduce the number of required multiplication.
