Study on Methods of Knowledge Domain Visualization

This paper discusses theoretical basis and realizing methods of knowledge domain visualization(KDViz). Visualization of knowledge domain is a kind of technology to extract structural patterns from scientific literatures and express them in 2D or 3D knowledge space, namely, the visualization on intellectual structure of some knowledge domain. This paper not only systematically introduces the concept and theoretical basis of visualization of knowledge domain, but also presents its application model and performs case analysis.
