Twin unit self-organising map for voice conversion

A self-organising map with twin unit (TW-SOM) is presented. TW-SOM enables voice conversion by fewer codebooks than the conventional LBG method, further it provides better voice conversion accuracy. The proposed method is successfully applied to the actual voice conversion from bone conduction voice to air conduction voice.
