Interpolation filter using raised cosine pulse for timing recovery
Yu Lin, Hsin-Shieh Tsai, Z.H. Jiang · 2005
In this paper the raised cosine interpolator for timing recovery is investigated. The truncated raised cosine pulse with rolloff factor /spl beta/ between 0.4 and 0.6 is shown to be a good pulse employed on the interpolation filter. The result reveals that with similar computational complexity the raised cosine interpolator is superior to other interpolators such as sine, polynomial and MMSE interpolators.
