Experimental investigation of balanced random interval arithmetic

Julius Žilinskas, Bogle, IDL · UCL Discovery (University College London) · 2003

The results of experimental testing of balanced random interval arithmetic with typical mathematical test functions as well as with generalized test function and practical problem are presented and discussed. The influence of the probability of the standard and inner interval operations to the ranges of functions is experimentally investigated.
