In dynamic networks, if the nodes are not scattered uniformly in area, to guarantee the coverage is difficult. However, we cannot use uniformly deployment strategy all the time. Uniformly scattering the nodes increases unbalanced traffic pattern in dynamic networks. Clustering seems a good solution for most problems of dynamic networks. However, there is another serious problem. Cluster heads (CHs) close to the sink lose their energy earlier than those farther away from the sink. To solve this problem, we propose a novel Cluster-Head selection strategy in dynamic networks. The coverage, energy consumption and data routing issues are well investigated and taken into consideration in the proposed scheme. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme considering data routing issues, improves the unbalanced traffic pattern, saves the energy of nodes longer and achieves satisfactory coverage ratio.
