Return of the icecream men. A discrete hotelling game

We consider a finite symmetric game in strategic form between two players which can be interpreted as a discrete variant of the Hotelling game in a one or two-dimensional space. As the analytical investigation of this game is tedious, we simulate with Mapleand formulate some conjectures. In addition we present a short literature overview
