The quartet property in multi-stage interconnection networks
Mostafa Rahmani, Kenneth E. Batcher · 2005
The class of Multi-stage Interconnection Networks (MINs) that are topologically-equivalent to the Omega network have the Quartet Property. The Quartet Property can be used to facilitate in proving the topological equivalence of the aforementioned class. Furthermore, it is a powerful tool used for the recursive construction of large fiber optic networks, as well as the recursive improvement of fault tolerance in these networks.
