We consider a continuous time Markovian switching dynamical network with time-varying connectivity and in which control of pinned nodes is event-triggered to reduce the frequency of controller updates and inter-node communication. We derive a sufficient condition relating the network graph Laplacian, the Markovian infinitesimal generator matrix governing the network switching, and the pinning control inputs to achieve exponential synchronization of the pinning network in the mean square sense. We provide a numerical example to illustrate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
