The SARAD (Sistema Acquisizione Registrazione e Analisi dei Dati) is a System used by Italian Navy to acquire, record and analyze the data from the avionic buses during the experimental activities that involve the helicopters of the Navy itself. Its most useful application is the real-time monitoring of the flight controls and engine parameters during the Ship-Helicopter Operating Limitations (SHOL) campaigns.
