Hybrid DS/FH spread spectrum data transmission system for telemetry

In this paper a novel hybrid spread spectrum transmission system designed for transmitting telemetrie data from remote sites is presented. It can be used for low bit rates and long distance radio links. The system is based on Spreading-Code-Phase-Shift-Keying modulation and shows excellent immunity to narrowband and wideband interference. The implementation of the system in SDR technology is possible and multiple access is also straightforward.
