Kirkwood-Buff Parameters for Binary Mixture

Department of Chemistry, University of Kalyani, Kalyani-741 235 Manuscript received 6 July 1993, revised 10 December 1993, accepted 17 February 1994 Kirkwood-Buff parameters have been calculated for four binary mixtures : (1) C6H6 + C6H12, (2) C6H, + CCI4, (3) C6H6 + C2H4CI4, (4) CHCI3 + (CH3)2CO with the help of thermodynamic quantities like partial molar volume, isothermal compressibility etc. Finally, the molecular interactions within the mixtures have been discussed with the help of these parameters.
