Summary In big sand dune area, the topography always varies and the mobility of surface make a great deal of difficulty for vibrators stake-less operation and layout. The COG (Center of gravity of a source array) of source station also has the high likelihood to exceed survey requirement. In attempt to solve these issues, BGP develop a new system called Digital-Seis System (DSS) which can realize autonomous navigation and real-time QC in operation of bid sand area. DSS can not only improve the operation efficiency and reduce safety hazards, but also significantly decrease the likelihood of COG exceeding survey requirement. Also, it can ensure data quality and meet the requirement of high density 2D seismic acquisition.
