Cochlear Implant (CI) is an electronic device that performs function similar to an inner ear. This device is useful for a person who suffers sensor-neural hearing loss or is deaf. To obtain better audio signals from cochlear implant, an efficient filtering process is very important. Analysis of signal features and design of an efficient filter are main challenges. The signal can easily pass through filter without any frequency loss. It, however, suffers overlapping problem when the number of channels are increased for audio processing. The features of a signal are extracted to find out noise present in the signal for filtering. To obtain a better performance, Fractional Delay Filter (FDF) is used for the proposed concept.
