Multisession monitor for .NET mobile applications: theory and implementation
Lieven Desmet, Fabio Massacci, Katsiaryna Naliuka · Lirias · 2007
Future mobile platforms will be characterized by pervasive client downloads. Users would like to download new (untrusted) applications on the spot in order to exploit the computational power of their mobile devices to make a better use of the services available in the environment. Such business model is not adequately supported by the current mobile security architecture and our article aims at extending the scope of security monitoring as a viable alternative. Prior work provided solutions to monitoring single instances of applications or to monitor all instances. The novelty of the proposed approach is that it allows to combine the both approaches, an ability that is needed to cope with many realistic policies.
