Security is one of the very important issue in the wireless network since its broadcast nature allows the illegitimate user to receive the copy of the information transmitted by the source to a particular destination. Cooperation through relays present between source and destination node is an efficient approach for achieving security as well as better system performance. Security is feasible in cooperative network if the source to intended receiver channel is better as compare to source or relay to eavesdropper channel. In this paper, we used Amplify and Forward (AF) and various Decode and Forward (DF-Convolution, DF-Read Solomon, DF-Turbo) relaying techniques to Compare them so that the best relaying technique can be used. A Multi eavesdropper restricted best second hop (MERBSH) method which is based on SNR restriction has been proposed to find out the best legitimate relay among the number of relays available in the communication system. The performance has been analysed in terms of secrecy rate, outage probability and average error probability (Symbol and bit error rates). Simulations shows that the proposed MERBSH method and DF-Turbo code outperforms in terms of the secrecy rate and error rate at the destination when compared to techniques in the literature.
