Cluster synchronization of linearly coupled complex networks with nonidentical nodes via event-triggered strategy

Fangfang Fu, Yi Zhao, Jianwen Feng · 2016

In this paper, the cluster synchronization problem for complex networks with linearly coupled nonidentical dynamical systems is concerned by using event-triggered strategy, that is, the event-triggered rules are applied to the coupling terms of the complex networks. Some simple yet generic criteria of cluster synchronization in continuous monitoring event-triggered rules are obtained by means of the Lyapunov function, the algebraic graph, and the differential inequality method. In addition, the inter-event intervals of all nodes under some restrictions are proved to be strictly positive, which indicates that there is no Zeno behavior under our schemes. Finally, several numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
