Preparing Inexpensive Color Slides from Black and White Diagrams
Robert L. Brenner · Journal of Geological Education · 1980
During the preparation of 35 mm slides for lectures and technical papers, I have often found that adding color to well-drafted black-and-white diagrams makes excellent slides. A rapid, inexpensive method of converting a line diagram to an effective color slide consists of making multiple electronic copies, each on paper of a different color and then carefully cutting and pasting portions of the colored copies onto a “base” copy. The process is completed by photographing the multicolored product with color transparency film.
