Data mining is field within computing that attempts to discover patterns across large volumes of data.Just as with software engineering, the process of data mining has a life cylcle.Within software engineering, testing represents a process across the entire cycle and is represented by a clear and practical model which is developed at the industrial level.For Business Intelligence (BI) projects this research dealing with the validity of the models that are generated via data mining but there isn't a model that exists over its entire life cycle.This paper proposes a test model for BI projects referencing test practices found in software engineering.
