Are cyber criminals competing at the Olympics?

Events like the Olympic Games represent a tremendous opportunity for cyber-criminals to ply their trade in a target-rich environment containing unusually rich targets. This paper looks at the reasons that mass gatherings attract hackers and the kinds of attacks that they perpetrate. It provides practical recommendations for those attending such events to mitigate cyber-crime risks.
