Word Sense Disambiguation on Dravidian Languages

WSD is the process of identifying correct sense of a particular word given in a context. It is one of the predominant area in the field of NLP, which focused on the ambiguity of spoken words in human languages. Even though a number of works have been done in Dravidian languages, still some sort of issues are seems to be in such languages especially in Malayalam. The purpose of this paper is to survey the most promising works in the area of WSD of Dravidian languages in recent years. A review of different learning techniques and associated language issues are also discussed.
