A DWT based Attack Resistant Video Steganography

In this paper an advance DWT based approach for data protection is proposed. Cryptography and steganography, two important areas of research, are used, when secure and reliable transmission of data needed. Cryptography is an art of transforming data into unreadable format whereas steganography is an art of hiding data behind a cover. In this paper the combination of both cryptography and steganography is proposed. This technique consists of multilevel data hiding methodology. Here secret information is embedded into frequency domain of cover image. Three level DWT is also used to increase the level data security. The analysis shows that data is securely extracted after performing various attacks, due to the use of attack resistant based video steganography concept.
