Grid computing is innovative technology that obtains computing power by using many computers connected by network. A virtial grid computing system which consists of one Linux PC for server and several linux PCs and windows PCs for computing nodes has been constructed in our laboratory by using Globus Toolkit which is the grid middleware. In this paper, the parallel computation of finite element analysis using dynamic relaxation as iterative technique was achieved and accuracy of this method was evaluated. By using this technique, it was investigated to succeed the parallel computation in grid computing. From the numerical results, both the parallel eciency and the availability on use of windows PC for computing nodes were discussed.
