Construction of Tetrahedral Models to Aid Visualization Of Multicomponent Systems
Joel E. Arem · Journal of Geological Education · 1967
A method is described for assembling tetrahedral models of quaternary systems utilizing plastic spheres, brass rods and elastic thread. These models are inexpensive and are extremely helpful in discussions of compatibilities in systems of geologic interest. They are also useful in classroom demonstrations involving large groups of students.
