Leader-following consensus for double-integrator dynamics with sampled-data

Zhengguang Ma, Zhongxin Liu, Zengqiang Chen · 2016

This paper studies the leader-following consensus problem for double-integrator dynamics with sampled-data. Based on the sampled position and velocity data, the distributed sampled control protocols are designed by using the periodic sampling technology and zero-order hold circuit. A sufficient condition for the leader-following consensus protocols using the sampled-data are obtained based on the sampling period, coupling gains and the eigenvalues of the Laplacian matrix. Some simulation examples are presented for illustration.
