With the rise of social consciousness, an atmosphere of social design has emerged. Designers are reflecting on ways of changing the current environment through better design. Designers are also creating valid solutions by applying open-innovation to initiate joint participation between users and designers. This study focuses on how designers can contribute to society, the process of service design, and how the concept of service design can be applied to service processes to create a mutually beneficial and prosperous service model.
