Performance of Quantize-Map-Forward Based Cooperative Multicast Systems With Successive Relaying

In this letter, we propose a quantize-map-forward (QMF)-based cooperative multicast system (CMS) with successive relaying. In particular, we derive two exact closed-form expressions for outage probability and throughput, respectively. Moreover, the best relay selection is considered to improve the system performance. Finally, the performances of CMS with QMF, amplify-and-forward, and decode-and-forward are compared numerically.
