An automated method for segmentation of the breast in mammography images

Luna-Benoso et al. This paper presents an automated method for segmentation of the breast in mammography images. To do this, we used the images obtained from the database digital mini-MIAS database [1]. The segmentation was carried out by methods in the spatial domain of the image and filters by using the histogram.
