Janus: Network- and application-aware multi-TCP optimization engine

We present Janus, a system that adaptively selects and optimizes TCP implementations using existing off-the-shelf TCP versions based on observed network conditions and application requirements. We outline the theoretical motivations that drive the proposed selection algorithms in Janus, and demonstrate the benefits of our approach in an emulated network.
